Sanctum Cay - New Bug?
Hi guys, First post, so Don't bite me head off!
I recently went back to Sanctum Cay to comlete the bonus after doing mission only a weeks or so ago, but am struggling and lots of people are talking of a new bug there. I have tried it twice with two different parties but same result. The bloke with the Sceptor gets killed instantly when he tries to raise the boat! Now that didn't happen when we did mission only.
Anyone any ideas?

Hello and welcome.
Sanctum Cay Mission in New Update
I'm starting to think it's a bug...full-party groups with all level 20s are complaining about it being "zomg hard impossible hax" in the mission area.

If your doing mission and bonus its impossible that bugs been there for god knows how long.Perhaps a stance tanker could hold them back while the group takes the bonus guy then joins back up?

Welcome to the forum.
Doing the bonus and mission together has always been difficult for Sanctum Cay because the bonus triggers the White Mantle rush to the docks once your party passes a certain point on the beach. I did the bonus on a separate run, and there were ~16 White Mantle waiting on the dock after I completed the bonus. The Vizier lasted ~3 seconds.
You might try splitting your party, and sending 1 or 2 tanks/solo characters to hold off the White Mantle at the dock while you complete the bonus, but that would be asking FAR too much coordination from the average pick up group, in my experience.

Thanks Guys, Seeing as so many are having problems I might just leave it a while and come back to that one. Two trys with reasonsable groups and same result has me a little perplexed. I did try a search but as mentioned it was down thanks again!

You might be able to hold off the Knights but the bulk of the damage comes from the savants anyway. About 10 searing heats under your feet = ftl

I had it run for me by a normal paladin build since the update.
Healing Hands, Dolyak, Breeze, Bonettis (i think), etc etc
